The Goulbourn Jubilee Singers appear at a variety of other events and concerts beyond our own spring and Christmas concerts.
We have joined with several other choirs to sing in joint concerts. We undertook this in 2017 when we sang with Command Performance from Picton, ON. We hosted them and they sang on our two 40th anniversary concert performances. The following weekend we visited Picton, took in the sights and activities, and sang on their concert stage. The year before in July as part of our European Tour, we sang as part of the Cantarina concert in Prague, Czech Republic in St Martin’s Church in the Wall.
We sang at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum at Christmas a few years back commemorating the World War I Christmas truce where both sides laid down their weapons for a short while, joined together, and sang Christmas songs. Our JJs joined with the adults to carry out this memorable moment for us.
