The All Voices Community Choir is pleased to once again offer bursaries for our members, to help advance their musical adventures! Two bursaries will be awarded in the spring of 2023, one for Singers under the age of 18, and the second for a member age 18 or over. In 2023, each scholarship will be worth up to $300.
Appropriate uses might be: attending a music camp, receiving special music lessons or masterclasses, the purchase of an instrument (for musical studies), participating in a choral experience, etc. Priority would be given to plans for a singing
or choral experience.
Applicants must be members in good standing of AVCC, and have been a member for at least 3 sessions (half-seasons).
The bursaries will be decided upon by an AVCC board sub-committee, with the winners announced in the spring. The committee’s decision is final.
Application deadline is Wednesday, March 29 th , 2023. Please submit your application, Please include a “head shot” photo of yourself with your application, for potential media/promotional use by AVCC.
Financial receipts will be required upon completion of your project/event/purchase. These should be submitted within 30 days of the completion of the event/purchase, to the AVCC treasurer.
