We are all certainly here to sing and have fun, but we also take pride in the high quality of our performances. This takes work! So we do have a few ground rules:
- You are expected to attend rehearsals on a regular basis, particularly as we draw closer to performance time.
- We include time for socializing, so that we can focus on our music during rehearsals and not distract other singers by catching up with friends.
- You will likely have to do some work at home on certain sections of pieces as assigned at rehearsal. MP3 files of the different parts are provided to help you work on pieces during the week.
If possible, you are expected to attend the retreats and sectionals that are scheduled during each season – this gives us an opportunity to focus on challenging pieces and strengthen friendships.
